Eugene Yost Bio

Eugene has 17 years of mortgage experience and re-joined the First National Bank – Mortgage team in 2021. He originates loans for the purchase, refinance and construction market and has a special affinity for working with veterans, which gives him the joy of serving those who have served our country with honor. Eugene specializes in educating consumers in understanding their mortgage options and navigating the qualification process from start to finish. He enjoys helping borrowers to reach their financial goals through the purchase of the home of their dreams. 

He has a Bachelor of Arts in history and business, is involved in teaching kids at his local church, and spends time mentoring and encouraging young men. He has been married to his wife Marie for 20 years and they have four children. When asked how he spends his spare time, Eugene answered, “I enjoy getting away from the city life to the soft rumbling of a high mountain stream, leaping from rock to rock like a regal cat, in a search of elusive trout and sipping on brown water, also known as bourbon.”
